Plot Summary
Vincenzo Cassano (Song Joong-ki) is an Italian lawyer and consigliere for the Cassano mafia family. Originally born in South Korea, he was adopted by an Italian family at a young age. However, after a betrayal within the mafia, Vincenzo flees to South Korea to recover hidden gold in the basement of Geumga Plaza—a seemingly ordinary building occupied by eccentric tenants.
Upon arriving, Vincenzo faces an unexpected challenge: a corrupt conglomerate, Babel Group, led by the ruthless and psychopathic Jang Jun-woo (Ok Taec-yeon). Babel Group aims to seize Geumga Plaza, putting Vincenzo at odds with them.
In his fight against Babel, Vincenzo joins forces with the feisty and ambitious lawyer Hong Cha-young (Jeon Yeo-been), who seeks revenge for her father’s murder at the hands of Babel. Together, they engage in a high-stakes battle, using mafia-style tactics, strategic manipulation, and even humor to dismantle the corrupt organization.
